If you want to create stunning images, try using different perspectives!
The easiest way you can take photos are from eye level which is what we’re used to seeing. But if you change the perspective of your shot it can breathe new life into the scene that could be quite boring.
Whenever I’m looking at a scene that’s flat but otherwise has some good elements I want to incorporate, I will always try to find a different way to look at it. Looking at the scene from different vantage points whether it’s vertically, ground level, or from an offset angle can yield surprisingly good results.
For example this image of a Joshua Tree that I took has a few elements that I love. The texture of the trunk is quite beautiful as well as the sharp pointed leaves coming out from the end of the branches. The texture of the tree is what first caught my eye and I wanted someone who’s viewing this tree to see the exact same thing.
